wish some one explained me the importance of copying from the best in their fields to create their own style this much clearly rather than asking us to rot learn in school. This article is something i would recommend to high schoolers when they are chasing their artistic pursuits. Thanks for writing in a succinct manner.

This is such a unique collection of advice in itself! And I am a tiny bit happy that I - rather unconsciously - source from some of these elements.

I also started considering switching up my bullet journal to be more of a common place book to collect and reflect on the daily lessons and things that spark my curiosity!

I’ve read about the myth of originality before, but your spin of I found it original.

I also like your exercise to copy the great writers. It reminds me of how we learn to paint by copying the great artists.

Being original was a major roadblock for me before I could write for an audience. I realized that it feels so because I had been misconceiving the meaning of originality. This perspective helped me start my journey with more confidence and feel authentic.
