I can so relate to what you said about being an introvert. Also, there is always someone who thinks along the same lines as us, if we only take the time to seek them out. It does feel comforting to know that there are people you can relate to.

Do you feel like that too? I’m always happy to find a fellow introvert. 🩷

Yes! I consider myself an introvert. Mostly because after a certain period of time, I need to get away to recharge. I don't mind peopling, but I can get peopled out if that makes sense. I try to pace my interactions and not pressure myself to respond right away all the time.

If you feel that you are an introvert then you are. Especially with getting away to recharge after being peopled out, I think you are. 😊

Wonderful read! Thank you for sharing your experience on Substack so honestly. I have realized that growth here is different for everyone, regardless of when you started or how much time you spent here. One person can have 100 subscribers in 1 month, while another will reach that milestone in 5 months or so....it doesn't matter. What matters is enjoying the process, learning from everyone (and yes there is sooo much to learn here!) and being better at what we do everyday. I'm glad you're enjoying your time on Substack.

Absolutely Sonakshi! Growth depends on how much we put in at a time. But as long as you put something in it, growth is going to be there. And I prefer my growth to be at my own pace, intentional and holistic. I love how much I’m learning from here everyday. And that in and of itself is growth for me🤍

Substack is such a cool and welcoming place. It's not all about money, and it's not all about numbers either. I feel substack is mostly about connecting with like minded people.

Beautiful reflections! One of the things that’s helped me create more transformation with books is journaling on the ideas inside. For example about 10 years ago I journaled while reading The Power of Now and it was life changing. A total paradigm shift that forever altered my life. (I was doing a simultaneous 40-day yoga practice that I’m sure also contributed.) but I deeply believe in active versus passive reading because that’s what unlocks true transformation. Congrats on 2 months! We started around the same time. (But I’ve been writing a long time and had a pre-existing audience.) love reading your reflections! ♥️

Wow, Suzanne. That’s a brilliant idea. I take notes while reading. But the journaling our ideas inside is different and appealing to me. Thanks for this information, I’ll try this.🤍
